Acclaimed Austin-based artisan chocolatier Chef Nicole Patel, owner of Delysia Chocolatier, announces her exhibition at the 2016 Aspen Food & Wine Classic for a third consecutive year. Chef Patel has expanded her activation this year to include exhibiting at the Grand Tasting, as well as showcasing at private events hosted by The Classic’s top sponsors. New and intriguing chocolate flavors, created exclusively for The Classic, include a Frito Pie truffle, Baked Bean truffle, and Seaweed Salad truffle.
For the Grand Tasting, Patel will feature chocolates inspired by Southern cuisine. Entree, side dish, dessert, and beverage flavors include a Brisket Caramel chocolate truffle, Collard Greens chocolate truffle, and Crawfish Boil chocolate bark. Created for Patron Spirit’s Upscale Your Drink event, Chef Patel will showcase chocolates incorporating Patron’s tequilas, such as a Mango Habanero truffle created with mango tequila and a Key Lime Pie truffle made with lime tequila. For Aspen Magazine’s Festival Launch party, Patel will offer Asian inspired chocolates such as a Honey Sriracha truffle and Wasabi Raspberry truffle.
