Fishing on the 4th in Lockhart State Park
All ages and abilities welcome! Rangers will teach you all the basics. No fishing license required. Tackle will be available to borrow for FREE on a first come first serve basis. 9:00 am-11:00 am


Independence Day Celebration at the Hill Country Galleria – Austin
LIVE music from Vallejo and KP & The Boom Boom / Emceed by Sun Radio. Take your chairs and blankets and enjoy the live music starting at 6:30 pm. The evening will end will a spectacular fireworks show at approximately 9:15 pm.


H-E-B Austin Symphony July 4th Concert & Fireworks – Austin
Spend this Independence Day with 100,000 of your closest friends! Central Texans will hurry to claim their grassy spot with the Austin Symphony Orchestra this July 4th for the largest Independence Day Celebration in the state. Head down to Vic Mathias Shores (formerly Auditorium Shores) for an amazing event complete with a fireworks display over the city skyline backed by symphonic patriotic classics.

The ASO will perform at 8:30 p.m., followed by “mile-high” fireworks at approximately 9:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.


4th of July Parade & Celebration – Cedar Park
A full day of fun starting at 10:00 am with a parade! More fun starting at 4:00 pm with a washer tournament, carnival, live music, bingo, and fireworks starting at 9:15 pm

Frontier Days Festival at the Old Settlers Park – Round Rock
This event will include live music, carnival rides, pig races, movies in the park, fireworks and the popular Round Rock Parade. The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. and the celebration at Old Settlers goes from 12:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. All FREE and open to the family!

Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival 2016!
Head on down to the South Shore of Lake Pflugerville for the Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival 2016!This “Pfestival” includes food, children’s activities, swimming, watercraft rentals, live music and a fireworks show. Celebration is this Monday, July 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and is free for all the family!

Tarrytown 4th of July Parade and Picnic
The 21st annual Tarrytown 4th of July Parade and Picnic will be presented 80′s style, starting at
9 a.m. All families are invited to participate in the parade or to cheer on the participants along the route.  Folks will gather at Good Shepherd Church at 8:30 a.m., and the parade route will travel west on Windsor to Pecos and then follow Pecos to Reed Park.   At Reed Park there will be refreshments, music, and breakfast treats.
Red White n’ Buda – Buda
Celebrate Independence Day in beautiful Downtown Buda. Festivities kick off with a with a Children’s Parade on down Main Street. Evening activities will be from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Enjoy freshly grilled hot dogs and hamburgers. Music and entertainment are part of the festivities with fireworks launching at 9:30 pm


Independence Day Fireworks Show – Kyle
A pre-show celebration will be held at the PCGC Clubhouse and is FREE to the public. Live music, hot dogs and drings to be sold under the large tent and a few other snacks. The fireworks show will begin at dusk (about 9:30pm) at the Plum Creek Golfcourse! 512-262-5555


SERTOMA’s 9th Annual 4th of July in San Gabriel Park – Georgetown
The 4th of July Celebration is FREE held in the beautiful San Gabriel Park in the heart of Georgetown. Festivities begin at 11:00 am with  Arts and Craft booths, 20 Food vendors, Kiddie rides, Bounce Houses, games along with a Petting Zoo are provided for the children. Musical entertainment will begin at the Gazebo at 12 noon and will continue all day.  The night ends with a Fabulous Fireworks Finale!


Leander Liberty Fest – Leander
Leander’s annual July 4th celebration featuring live music, good food and fun for the whole family! Entertainment by The Emotions.  FREE and open to the public 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm at the H-E-B 651 N US Hwy 183


Taylor Firework Festival – Taylor
Spend the afternoon, starting at 4:00 pm at the shady, beautiful Murphy Park enjoying food, arts and crafts, Putt Putt Golf, swimming and more! Then stay for the best part: Fireworks in the Park at dusk!



Fury on the 4th – CHAMPIONSHIP BULL RIDING – Giddings
What could be more American than celebrating Independence Day with Beer, BBQ, Bull Riding, Live Music and Fireworks?  You can find all that and more in the small town of Giddings, Texas just a short 45 minute drive east of Austin on Highway 290. Activities start early with the annual Firemen’s Feast – presented by the Giddings Volunteer Fire Department (GVFD).  Admission to Firemen’s Park is Free.  BBQ will be sold by the pound starting at 8:00 a.m. followed by BBQ by the plate at 10:00 a.m.  Bring your lawn chairs so you can kick back and enjoy great food and live music with local favorites Central Texas Sounds and Blue Sunsets.  There will be booths with arts and crafts as well as live and silent auctions where proceeds benefit the GVFD.

Firemen’s Park is located approximately 2.5 miles west of downtown Giddings on Highway 290.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Posse Arena is located adjacent to Firemen’s Park and is home to the Fury on the Fourth – Championship Bull Riding (CBR).  Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and Bull Riding Action begins at 7:00 p.m.  The Lee County Sheriff’s Posse is a volunteer organization who owns and operates the rodeo arena in Giddings.  Proceeds from events like the Fury on the Fourth provide scholarships for local youth.

Giddings, Texas is the last stop on tour and the last chance for these cowboys to gain points before heading to the CBR Finals at Cheyenne Frontier Days in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  Bull Riders from all over the United States will converge on Giddings to compete for over $10,000 in prize money and a Champion Buckle.  In addition to the bull riding, Bull Fighters will demonstrate their skills with a Free Style Bull Fighting Competition.  Finally, we can’t forget the little cowboys and cowgirls who will compete in the Mutton Bustin’.

Immediately following the Fury on the Fourth, the Giddings Volunteer Fire Department will present a spectacular Fire Works Display.  Then the live music continues with Texas Artist, Cameran Nelson taking the stage at 10:30 p.m.

Jump in the car or truck and head on down to Giddings, Texas for some small town hospitality and big time fun!
