Since getting his start in 1979 after picking up a guitar, one could certainly say that Country singer/songwriter John Berry knows a thing or two about putting on a show. With his upcoming Tour Bus Cover series, fans will get a chance to see intimate performances by the chart-topper while he spends his free time creatively learning music from some of his inspirations. Strictly Country gives fans a first look of what to expect with upcoming releases, as they have posted a performance video for Berry’s deep sing-along, “Sanctuary,” which he penned.
“Tour bus covers was a great concept idea by Jeremy Freer of Runway Light Entertainment” said John Berry. “I chose music and songs by artists that influenced me and my music. The environment in which they were recorded was raw, basic and real; as well as a place I love to be…the tour bus.”
With even more Tour Bus Covers to come, Berry will tackle some of the biggest Country hits of all-time including “To Make You Feel My Love” by Garth Brooks, while also tackling other rock classics like “Fire” by Bruce Springsteen. That’s just the beginning, as more and more videos come together. The 90’s hit-maker will take viewers on an emotional roller coaster with fun upbeat tracks, along with slow, heartfelt ballads.
After launching, and completing a highly successful Kickstarter campaign earlier this summer to fund his next album, John gave fans the opportunity for exclusive rewards, including a private performance at a concert of their choosing or a 30-minute mini concert with John and his guitar via Skype / FaceTime. Since reaching the goal and raising over $54,000, the “Your Love Amazes Me” singer has been in the studio working on his upcoming project. Stay tuned for more information, as the project comes together!
