New Album Details and Summer Tour Announced by Hot Texas Swing Band

Hot Texas Swing Band has announced further details surrounding their new album and a 2017 summer tour. The tour will run from Jun. 21 thru Jul. 2 and feature performances in California, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico. See below for a full itinerary.

The band’s most recent effort, Ain’t Dead Yet, continues to build momentum on the radio charts. The record has steadily risen on the Western Swing Charts since its release, and the most recent issue of Western Way now lists the album at No. 1 on the ‘Top 10 Western Swing Albums.’ See here for the full chart listings.

HTSB has also announced a new album planned for a Fall 2017 release. The album features the recording debut of three new band members: Wes Starr on drums, Ileana Nina on fiddle and Liz Morphis on vocals. HTSB is set to record at The Zone studio in Dripping Springs, TX, where they previously recorded Ain’t Dead Yet and will include six new original tunes written by band leader Alex Dormont and one new original by vocalist Liz Morphis.
